Annual Holy Kailash Yatra begins from Vasuki Nag Temple, Bhaderwah, J&K
- Event: The three-day Holy Kailash Yatra commenced from the ancient Vasuki Nag Temple, Gatha, Bhaderwah, Jammu & Kashmir.
- Send-off: Pilgrims were accorded a warm farewell by DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal, MLA Dalip Singh Parihar, local officials, and residents.
- Precautions:
- Limited number of yatris allowed due to recent cloudburst incidents and inclement weather.
- Medical teams and administrative arrangements deployed along the yatra route for safety.
- Itinerary:
- Night halt at Hayan (Nalthi).
- Arrival at Kailash Kund for holy dip in Kailash Dal and performance of religious rituals.
- Return journey to Bhaderwah scheduled on 22 August 2025.
- Significance:
- Preserves religious and cultural traditions of the region.
- Strengthens local administration’s disaster preparedness and safety management during pilgrimage events.
