  • Context: District Administration Ramban, Jammu & Kashmir is providing medical services to remote and inaccessible areas through the “Hospital on Wheels” initiative.
  • Medical Camp:
    • Organized at Village Ind, Medical Block Gool.
    • Services provided: Free treatment, medicines, essential diagnostics, and health awareness campaigns.
    • Patient outreach: 160 patients served (145 General OPD, 21 Dental).
    • Investigations conducted: Blood sugar, anaemia, malaria testing.
    • Screenings: Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Tuberculosis under NTEP.
    • Digital health promotion: 30 ABHA IDs generated under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).

    • Enhances access to quality healthcare in remote areas.
    • Promotes preventive healthcare, early detection of diseases, and digital health adoption.
    • Aligns with Ayushman Bharat goals and strengthens primary healthcare delivery in rural India.
