- Context: District Administration Ramban, Jammu & Kashmir is providing medical services to remote and inaccessible areas through the “Hospital on Wheels” initiative.
- Medical Camp:
- Organized at Village Ind, Medical Block Gool.
- Services provided: Free treatment, medicines, essential diagnostics, and health awareness campaigns.
- Patient outreach: 160 patients served (145 General OPD, 21 Dental).
- Investigations conducted: Blood sugar, anaemia, malaria testing.
- Screenings: Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Tuberculosis under NTEP.
- Digital health promotion: 30 ABHA IDs generated under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
- Significance:
- Enhances access to quality healthcare in remote areas.
- Promotes preventive healthcare, early detection of diseases, and digital health adoption.
- Aligns with Ayushman Bharat goals and strengthens primary healthcare delivery in rural India.
