India Sets Three GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ Titles under “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar” Abhiyaan

- The Union Health Ministry achieved three Guinness World Records™ under the “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” (SNSPA), marking a global recognition of India’s scale and innovation in preventive, women-centric healthcare.
- The records include:
- Most people to register for a healthcare platform in one month – 3.21 crore participants (3,21,49,711)
- Most people to sign up for breast cancer screening online in one week – 9.94 lakh participants (9,94,349)
- Most people to sign up for vital signs screening online in one week (state level) – 1.25 lakh participants (1,25,406)
- The campaign, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from 17th September to 2nd October 2025, coincided with Poshan Maah, and focused on improving women’s health, nutrition, and early disease detection.
- Guided by the principle “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar” (“Healthy Woman, Empowered Family”), the initiative emphasized that a healthy mother ensures a healthy family, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
- The campaign reached all districts across India, conducting over 19.7 lakh health camps with a footfall exceeding 11 crore.
- It adopted a “Whole-of-Government” and “Whole-of-Society” approach, involving 20+ Ministries, MPs and MLAs, medical institutions, and private organizations.
- Mass community engagementwas a key highlight:
- 5 lakh Panchayati Raj representatives
- 1.14 crore school and college students
- 94 lakh Self Help Group (SHG) members
- 5 lakh community platform representatives
- Health outcomes achieved:
- 1.78 crore hypertension screenings
- 1.73 crore diabetes screenings
- 69.5 lakh oral cancer screenings
- 62.6 lakh antenatal care check-ups
- 1.43 crore vaccine doses administered
- 1.51 crore anaemia tests conducted
- 85.9 lakh women screened for tuberculosis
- 10.2 lakh screened for sickle cell disease
- 2.14 crore participated in counselling and wellness sessions
- 2.68 lakh Nikshay Mitra registered under the My Bharat Volunteers initiative
- The recognition underscores India’s integrated health model blending digital innovation, public participation, and inter-ministerial coordination to achieve national health goals.
