In News : Third International AYUSH Conference to be Held in Dubai in February

Analysis:

1. Dubai will host the third international AYUSH conference and exhibition from 15–17 February 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
2. The event will bring together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, and students of traditional systems of medicine from over 35 countries.

6. Objectives include strengthening India-UAE cooperation in traditional medicine, medical tourism, AYUSH research, education, green medicine, and promotion of trade and investment in AYUSH products and services.
7. An international exhibition of AYUSH pharmaceutical products, educational institutions, research organisations, and service providers will run alongside the conference and will be open to the public free of charge.
8. An international delegate assembly will be held on 15 February with participation from WHO representatives, regulators, policymakers, and industry leaders, to explore government-to-government cooperation and potential bilateral agreements.
9. The event underscores India’s efforts to globalise AYUSH systems and strengthen diplomatic, healthcare, and trade ties with the UAE.
