IGNCA signed an MoU with Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP), Lucknow in New Delhi to promote interdisciplinary research linking culture, heritage, and earth sciences.

Assam Rifles collaborated with IIIT Manipur to promote drone technology for defence applications and capacity building.

• On 14 June 2025, Maharashtra, Kerala, Bihar, and Odisha signed MoUs with PSB Alliance and National Farmers’ Welfare Program Implementation Society at the Agri Stack Conference, New Delhi to enable farmer-registry-linked digital credit access.

• The Indian Navy signed an MoU with IIT Delhi to improve Quality of Life (QoL) onboard naval ships through advanced naval ergonomics and habitability design.

• Under the Navy–IIT Delhi MoU, a research and design centre will be established with the Directorate of Naval Architecture (DNA) for ship design optimization and human-factor engineering.

• At the Sharm el-Sheikh Summit (Egypt), the USA, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey signed a historic declaration aimed at ending the Israel–Hamas conflict and restoring peace in Gaza.

Coal India Limited (CIL) signed an MoU with IIT Madras to establish a Centre for Sustainable Energy.

NCERT signed an MoU with IIT Madras in New Delhi to enhance educational research, curriculum development, and digital learning.

• The Digital India Bhashini Division (DIBD) and CRIS signed an MoU on 9 June 2025 in New Delhi to integrate multilingual AI solutions in railway services.

IEPFA (MCA) and India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) signed an MoA to launch Phase-2 of the “Niveshak Didi” initiative for grassroots investor awareness.

India and Nepal signed agreements to boost power sector cooperation and strengthen cross-border electricity transmission infrastructure.

• The 17th India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) was held in Chennai from 5–7 November 2025, focusing on India’s gaming and digital entertainment ecosystem.

India and Ecuador signed an MoU on cooperation between Diplomatic Training Institutions to strengthen foreign service capacity building.

India and Cuba signed an MoU to enhance legal cooperation and cultural exchange.

Banas Dairy and BBSSL signed an MoU to strengthen the potato value chain, focusing on farmer income and agri-processing efficiency.

India–Germany (Jan 2026): India and Germany signed 19 MoUs/joint declarations covering defence, technology, trade, critical minerals, semiconductors, telecommunications, and bioeconomy cooperation.

India–UK (July 2025): India signed a Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CEPA) with the UK to deepen bilateral trade and economic integration.

India–Oman (Dec 2025): India and Oman signed a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, granting zero-duty access on ~98% tariff lines, while India reduced duties on ~78% of Omani imports.

India–Indonesia (Jan 2025): India and Indonesia signed five MoUs focusing on health cooperation and maritime safety and security.

India–Japan: India and Japan signed multiple MoUs including Digital Partnership 2.0, foreign service training cooperation, wastewater management, sustainable urban development, and mineral sector collaboration.

India–Mongolia (Oct 2025): On the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations, India and Mongolia signed about 10 MoUs covering digital cooperation, culture, immigration, mineral exploration, and heritage restoration.

India–Mauritania (Oct 2024): India and Mauritania signed multiple MoUs on cultural exchange (2024–28), foreign office consultations, visa exemption for diplomatic/official passports, and diplomatic training.

Competition Law Cooperation (Mar 2025): The Competition Commission of India (CCI) signed MoUs with regulators from Egypt, Mauritius, Japan, Brazil, Canada, Australia, the European Commission, and the US DOJ to enhance cross-border antitrust enforcement.

India–Guyana (Nov 2024): India and Guyana signed 10 MoUs covering hydrocarbons, agriculture and allied sectors, cultural exchange (2024–27), and UPI deployment collaboration.

India–Laos (Oct 2024): India and Laos signed six MoUs on defence, customs, audio-visual cooperation, heritage preservation, and nutrition security projects.

India–Maldives (May–July 2025): India and Maldives signed 13 MoUs under High Impact Community Development Project Phase-III focusing on ferry services, maritime connectivity, and community infrastructure.

India–Maldives (2025): India additionally announced six MoUs and credit lines worth ~₹4,850 crore for infrastructure and development projects in the Maldives.

India–Israel (Nov 2025): India and Israel signed a defence cooperation MoU to enhance maritime security, cyber defence, joint training, exercises, and capacity building.

• DPIIT–Pfizer Ltd: MoU to strengthen India’s healthcare innovation ecosystem through startup collaboration.
• India–Armenia: Cooperation in medical products regulation along with discussions on broader bilateral relations.
• AFMS–NIMHANS: MoU for mental health support to armed forces personnel and families through research, training, and specialized programs.
India AI Mission–BMGF: Collaboration to leverage AI for agriculture, healthcare, education, and climate resilience.

• DEPwD–NIOS–NCERT: MoU to promote inclusive education for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
• Central University of Karnataka–Vidzeme University (Latvia): Academic exchange, faculty/student mobility, joint research, seminars, and workshops.
• MeitY–BITS Pilani: Professional development programme in cybersecurity for government, PSUs, and industry professionals.
• SRIHER Chennai–Columbia University (USA): Collaboration in radiation sciences.
Women Safety Wing (Telangana Police)–Yugantar: Partnership to support the LGBTQIA+ community.

• India–Namibia: Cooperation in health, medicine, entrepreneurship, digital payments (UPI model), and multisectoral engagement during PM’s visit.
Namibia: Joined Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) and Global Biofuels Alliance.
• India–Bhutan: Technical cooperation in agriculture, rural development, and food security.
• India–Nepal: Cooperation in WASH sector; Supreme Court–Supreme Court MoU for judicial cooperation.
• India–Algeria: Bilateral defence cooperation agreement.
India–Sri Lanka: Umbrella MoU on defence cooperation covering training, intelligence sharing, and joint exercises.

• Indian Railways–DFCCIL: Implementation of AI and ML-based train inspection systems.
• Digital India Bhashini Division–CRIS: Deployment of multilingual AI solutions for Indian Railways platforms.
RTGS Andhra Pradesh–SHAR: Use of space technologies for real-time governance, agriculture, disaster management, and urban planning.

• NLCIL–IIT Madras: Research collaboration on Carbon Capture Systems (CCS) for thermal power plants.
• NLCIL–BARC: Extraction of rare earth elements (REEs) from fly ash generated by thermal power stations.
• SCCL–IMMT Bhubaneswar: Exploration and production of critical minerals using eco-friendly technologies.
Geological Survey of India: Discovery of REEs in Durgam Gutta block, Manuguru including 6 light and 8 heavy rare earth elements.

RBI–Bank of Mauritius: Agreement to promote use of local currencies (INR and MUR) for cross-border transactions.

JNU–Inonu University (Türkiye): MoU suspended on 14 May 2025 due to national security considerations.
IIT Roorkee–Inonu University (Türkiye): MoU cancelled during 16–17 May 2025 in alignment with India’s strategic interests

NXT25 Summit, Mumbai: MoUs worth approximately USD 50 billion signed with domestic and global investors.
