Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Contribute 76 Mementos to PM Mementos e-Auction 2025

ANALYSIS
• The 7th edition of the PM Mementos e-Auction is organized by the Ministry of Culture through the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Delhi.

• A total of 76 items from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir (71 items) and Ladakh (5 items) are featured.

• The auction is live from September 17 to October 2, 2025 at www.pmmementos.gov.in.

• The total number of items in the 2025 edition exceeds 1,300.

• Proceeds from the auction will directly support the Namami Gange Project.

• Kani Pashmina Shawl with Embroidery

– Crafted using small wooden needles known as “kanis.”

• Thangka Painting Scroll depicting Shakyamuni Buddha

• Brass Surai with Intricate Floral Designs

– Ornate floral motifs on high-quality brass.
