The Samriddhi Yatra serves as a governance outreach programme through which the State Government reviews developmental works, evaluates implementation of flagship schemes, and announces new projects based on local requirements. The emphasis reflects Bihar's governance approach of combining infrastructure development with welfare delivery.A major focus of the interaction remained employment generation. The Government reiterated its target of creating 1 crore jobs and employment opportunities over the next five years by promoting industrialisation, strengthening skill development, and improving investment. According to the announcement, the State intends to make Bihar's youth skilled, self-reliant and employable through greater industrial expansion. The Chief Minister also highlighted the 2023 Caste-based Survey, which identified nearly 94 lakh economically poor families belonging to different social groups, including Upper Castes, Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs), Scheduled Castes, Mahadalits and Muslims. Based on the survey findings, the Government announced that these identified poor families would receive employment assistance of ₹2 lakh, aimed at promoting sustainable livelihoods rather than only welfare support. The Deputy Chief Minister reaffirmed that the Government's development model is based on the principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas", with emphasis on inclusive infrastructure development irrespective of social or political affiliation. He further announced that an airport at Forbesganj (Araria) would be developed, while highlighting future priorities such as industrial corridors, semiconductor policy, defence corridors, and information technology to promote industrialisation and employment within Bihar.Overall, the Samriddhi Yatra reflects Bihar's strategy of combining infrastructure development, employment generation, social justice, industrial promotion, and administrative monitoring to accelerate long-term economic development.
