Eminent IAS is looking for passionate, student-centric, and highly motivated individuals to join our growing academic team as Academic Mentors.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy guiding civil services aspirants, building accountability systems, tracking performance, and helping students remain focused throughout their preparation journey.
As an Academic Mentor, you will work closely with a small group of aspirants, helping them create effective study plans, monitor progress, improve test performance, utilize resources efficiently, and stay motivated during the preparation process.
Whether you are an experienced educator, UPSC/PCS aspirant, mentor, academic counselor, or a highly motivated fresher with strong subject knowledge, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications
  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Strong command over at least one UPSC General Studies subject.
  • Good understanding of the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
  • Familiarity with at least one State PCS examination:
    • BPSC
    • UPPSC
    • MPPSC
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who:
  • Have qualified UPSC Prelims.
  • Have appeared in UPSC Mains.
  • Have qualified any stage of State PCS examinations.
  • Possess exceptional academic records.

Candidates having experience with reputed institutions in Mukherjee Nagar, Old Rajinder Nagar, or leading national coaching brands will be preferred.

Experienced Candidates
  • Candidates with relevant experience in teaching, mentorship, academic counseling, coaching institutes, or EdTech organizations can expect a minimum 10% hike and up to 30% hike over their current CTC, subject to assessment, role fitment, and management approval.
After Successful Completion of MTP
  • Compensation up to ₹9 LPA (Fixed + Variable), based on:

Probation Period
  • Minimum: 1 Month
  • Maximum: 2 Months
Successful completion of the probation period and Mentor Training Program is mandatory for confirmation.
Final role, compensation, incentives, responsibilities, and growth opportunities shall be determined solely by management based on performance, organizational requirements, and business needs.

Responsibilities

Student Mentorship
  • Mentor approximately 6–7 aspirants.
  • Conduct Zoom-based mentorship sessions.
  • Spend approximately 60–90 minutes per student as per mentorship schedules.
  • Develop personalized preparation strategies.
  • Create study plans, schedules, and target sheets.
Progress Monitoring
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Monitor study consistency and performance.
  • Maintain mentorship records and reports.
  • Identify preparation gaps and suggest corrective measures.
Academic Support
  • Help students utilize notes, content, and study resources effectively.
  • Explain preparation strategies and subject prioritization.
  • Guide students on answer-writing, revision, and productivity.
Test Series Feedback
  • Evaluate student performance.
  • Provide actionable feedback and improvement plans.
  • Monitor test-to-test progress.
  • Encourage continuous practice and assessment.
Motivation & Accountability
  • Keep students motivated throughout their preparation journey.
  • Build accountability systems.
  • Support aspirants during challenging phases of preparation.
  • Improve consistency, confidence, and discipline.
Content & Academic Engagement
  • Demonstrate how Eminent IAS content can accelerate preparation.
  • Help students maximize the value of study material and test series.
  • Contribute to academic initiatives whenever required.
