Amrit Bharat Station Scheme – Bihar Railway Stations

Bihar Stations Included:

• Newly Added: Jhajharpur, Mokama, Barhiya.
• Earlier Included: 40+ stations across Bihar.

Key Features of Modernization:

• Facilities comparable to airports for travelers.
• Clean, modern, and well-organized station premises.
• Incorporation of local art, culture, and heritage (e.g., Mithila culture at Jhajharpur).
• Enhanced passenger amenities for convenience and comfort.

Administrative Action:

• Railway Ministry issued orders including these stations in the scheme.
• Central Minister & Munger MP Lalan Singh thanked Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approval.
• JDU Executive President & Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha highlighted the development on social media.
