Aditya Nigam and Hilal Ahmad win Ramchandra Khan Social Science Award

The Ramchandra Khan Social Science Award 2025 has been jointly awarded to Professor Aditya Nigam and Hilal Ahmad.
The award recognises original works in Hindi in the field of Social Sciences.
Aditya Nigam was honoured for his book Aasmaan Aur Bhi Hain: Vaicharik Swaraj Ke Taqaze.
Hilal Ahmad received the award for his book Allah Naam Ki Siyasat.
For the 2025 edition, books published between 2022 and 2024 were considered.
The selection committee highlighted the works for their global intellectual quality, creative vision, and profound discourse, with a lasting impact on Hindi social thought.
The award will be presented at a programme on 5 April, organised in memory of Ramchandra Khan.

Ramchandra Khan Social Science Award: An annual award instituted by Lok Darshan Nyas, Patna.
Scope: Original Hindi writings in Social Sciences.
Award Components:
- Cash prize of ₹1 lakh to each awardee
- Certificate of appreciation
