Amitabh Kant, India’s G20 Sherpa and former CEO of NITI Aayog, has resigned after 45 years of government service.

    • G20 Sherpa (2022–2025): Led India’s Presidency of G20.
    • CEO, NITI Aayog (2016–2022): Oversaw Aspirational Districts Programme, digital public infrastructure push, Atal Innovation Mission, Green Hydrogen Mission, PLI schemes.
    • Secretary, DIPP (Now DPIIT): Key reforms in ease of doing business, launched Make in India & Startup India.
