DGFT to pilot ‘Bharat Aayat Niryat Lab Setu’ single-window platform from November 4

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) will launch a pilot phase of the Bharat Aayat Niryat Lab Setu on November 4, 2025, introducing a single-window digital platform to connect testing and inspection agencies across India.This initiative aims to make the certification process for export and import consignments faster, paperless, transparent, and traceable, strengthening global trust in India’s quality ecosystem.


KEY FEATURES

  • Unified digital interface: The platform will link exporters, importers, and accredited testing and inspection agencies nationwide.
  • Ease of access: Exporters and importers can search, select, apply, track, and obtain digital test reports and certifications across product categories.
  • Transparency & traceability: Ensures real-time visibility of accredited agencies and test results.
  • Paperless operations: Reduces delays and eliminates redundant manual processes.
  • Parallel testing during pilot: Existing procedures will continue alongside the new system to ensure a smooth transition and gather user feedback.

TIMELINE

  • Pilot Launch: November 4, 2025

OBJECTIVE

The initiative aligns with India’s push toward digital trade facilitation, quality standardisation, and export competitiveness, by creating an integrated digital ecosystem for product testing and certification.
