- The 9th edition of the Global Technology Summit (GTS) is being held in New Delhi from April 10–12, 2025.
- Inaugural address by External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar.
- Co-hosted by: Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) & Carnegie India.
Theme 2025:“Sambhavna” (Possibility) – exploring how emerging technologies can drive inclusive growth, strengthen digital governance, and deepen cross-border partnerships.Highlights:
- Over 40 public sessions → keynote addresses, ministerial conversations, expert panels, strategic dialogues.
- 150+ speakers from 40+ countries (US, UK, Japan, Australia, France, Germany, Brazil, UAE, Nigeria, EU, etc.).
- Key focus areas: AI governance, Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), data protection, cybersecurity, space security, Global South tech collaboration.
- Youth engagement: GTS Young Ambassadors Programme – involving students & young professionals in policy conversations on responsible AI, digital futures, global tech norms.

- India’s flagship dialogue on geo-technology.
- Strengthens technology diplomacy and positions India as a thought leader in shaping global tech governance.
