 Context

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, through the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP), launched ‘Kreeda App’, India’s first state-level sports management mobile application, aimed at bringing transparency, efficiency, and digitization to sports administration and athlete management.


 About the ‘Kreeda App’

Platform: Mobile App (Android & iOS)

Nature: First comprehensive sports management system in India.


 Key Features

  1. 🏅 Transparent Sports Quota Management:
    • Eliminates malpractices in sports quota certificate issuance.
  2. 👟 Athlete Registration & Performance Tracking:
    • Players can register individually or through coaches/associations.
    • Performance records updated digitally.
  3. 📆 Centralised Sports Calendar:
    • Enables players to apply for tournaments online.
  4. 📜 Digital Certificates:
    • State-level event certificates are digitally signed and available via DigiLocker.
    • Recognized as valid and original documents.
  5. 🎓 Integration with Incentives & Career Support:
    • Facilitates job reservations, incentives, and admission benefits for athletes.
  6. 🧑‍🏫 Coach & Association Module:
    • Real-time monitoring of coach performance and attendance.
    • Associations must upload annual event calendars, team details, and results.
  7. 🏋️ Asset & Equipment Management:
    • Tracks sports equipment inventory and condition periodically.
  8. ⚙️ Grievance Redressal System:
    • Enables stakeholders to raise and resolve sports-related issues efficiently.
