- At the U20 World Wrestling Championships in Samokov, Bulgaria, India’s Kajal Dochak won gold in the women’s 72kg category, defeating China’s Yuqi Liu (8–6).

- Saarika – 53kg (def. Poland’s Ilona Valchuk).
- Shruti – 50kg (def. Germany’s Josephine Wrench).
- Suraj – 60kg Men’s Greco-Roman (def. France’s Lucas Go Grasso).
