Khelo India Youth Games – Bhagalpur’s Khushi Yadav shines as “Udanpari”

Khushi Yadav from Nathnagar, Bhagalpur, won a Gold Medal in the 2000m Steeplechase event at the Khelo India Youth Games held at Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna.
Shortly after, she also participated in the 4x400m Relay, securing 5th position despite fatigue.
Athletics Federation of India and NADA conducted a doping test post her remarkable performance.
Khushi had earlier suffered a serious leg injury during the Tarang competition, but after 18 months of recovery at SAI, Kolkata, she switched from long jump to long-distance racing and achieved success.
Alongside her, Divyansh Kumar Raj from Nathnagar (Noorpur) won a Silver Medal in the 4x100m Relay, marking his fourth consecutive national-level medal.
Divyansh already holds a National Record in the 60m sprint and trains at SAI Hyderabad.

Both athletes trained at Aashadeep Athletics Club, Bhagalpur, under coach Jitendra Mani Rakesh.
