  • Passion for racing began with karting, later progressed to Formula Monza and Formula Three.

  • 1975 Spanish Grand Prix – finished 6th, becoming the first and only woman to score points in Formula 1 history.
    • Scored 0.5 points (race shortened due to a crash).
  • First woman to race and qualify in F1 since Maria Teresa de Filippis (1958).

  • First female to qualify & compete in Race of Champions, Brands Hatch (1974) – finished 14th.
