• Eighty university-level students from diverse academic disciplines shortlisted for participation.
• NHRC Member Justice (Dr) Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi emphasized that human rights protection is intrinsic to dignity, liberty, equality, and justice.
• Stressed the need to understand issues related to human rights and the importance of safeguarding the rights of others.
• Programme Structure:
  • 46 sessions covering various aspects of human rights.
  • Activities include group research presentations, book reviews, declamation competitions, and virtual tours to Tihar Jail.
