NITI Aayog Hosts ‘Mega Tinkering Day’

  • Event Overview: NITI Aayog organised Mega Tinkering Day, connecting over 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) from all 35 states and union territories in a nationwide, virtual event.
  • Participation: Over 4.5 lakh students from more than 9,000 ATL-equipped schools took part. Schools from remote villages of aspirational districts also joined.
  • Activity Highlight: Students engaged in a hands-on project to design and build a DIY vacuum cleaner using everyday materials available in their labs.
