SwaRail – Indian Railways’ Super-App
Context:
The Ministry of Railways has launched SwaRail, a super-app designed to consolidate multiple services of Indian Railways into a single digital platform. Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), the app is currently in beta testing, allowing users to provide feedback before the full-scale launch.Key Features:
- Ticketing Services: Reserved, unreserved, and platform ticket bookings.
- Parcel & Freight Enquiries: Users can track and manage parcels.
