Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal Launches LIMBS Live Cases Dashboard to Enhance Transparency in Government Litigation

Union Minister of State for Law and Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal, inaugurated the Live Cases Dashboard of the Legal Information Management and Briefing System (LIMBS) in New Delhi.

The initiative aims to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the management of government litigation.

Key Highlights

• The LIMBS Live Cases Dashboard is a new digital interface providing real-time information on court cases involving various ministries and departments.
• The dashboard displays details of all cases scheduled to be heard in the next seven days across the Supreme Court, High Courts, and other judicial forums.
• It allows officers and ministers to access case details directly from their dashboards and receive weekly updates on upcoming hearings.
• The dashboard presents data visualisation and a summary of live cases, helping in better inter-ministerial coordination and timely legal action.
• Currently, the LIMBS portal hosts around 7 lakh live cases from 53 Ministries and Departments.
