Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh, met Puducherry LG K. Kailashnathan to discuss a comprehensive coastal action plan.
The meeting focuses on India’s Deep Ocean Mission and Puducherry’s role in marine research, seabed exploration, and sustainable coastal development.

Sustainable Coastal Development: Measures for coastal cleaning, beach management, and tackling coastal erosion and environmental degradation.

Deep Ocean Mission (DOM):
