Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2026 Records Over 50 Lakh Participants in Phase-1

- The quiz was held from September 1 to October 31, 2025.
- Participation spanned across all 28 States and 8 Union Territories.

- Gender ratio: 51% male and 49% female participants, indicating balanced representation.
- Next Phase (Essay Round):
- 2.56 lakh candidates have qualified for Phase-2, which involves submission of essays on nation-building themessuch as:
- Youth in governance
- Women-led development
- Entrepreneurship and startups
- Cultural and global influence
- Innovation rooted in tradition
- Aatmanirbhar Bharat
- Sustainable agriculture
- Green growth
- Future-ready workforce development
- Essays may be written in any of the 22 official Indian languages.
- Evaluation will be conducted at state-level assessment centres for transparency.
- Further Rounds:
- Qualifiers from the essay stage will advance to state-level presentations to articulate their vision for a developed Bharat.
- Government’s Vision:
- The initiative reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for youth-driven governance and innovation.
- VBYLD serves as a national forum for young leaders to contribute ideas for governance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development as part of Viksit Bharat 2047.
